About the role

NC State Extension is seeking an Extension Agent – Consumer Horticulture for Columbus County to develop and deliver non-formal educational programs in consumer horticulture, pest management, landscape and turf, and urban forestry for local residents. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in an agricultural field (Master’s or Doctorate preferred) with strong public speaking and teaching skills; travel within the county and occasional external travel are required.
