This executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing strategic accounts. A consultative sales approach, executive-level relationship management, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling complex CDMO services within the medical device industry and a strong understanding of the unique challenges associated with regenerative medicine, tissue-based products, biomaterials, and implantable medical devices. Applicants for the Senior Director position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced technical degree preferred, and have at least 10 years of commercial leadership experience in the medical device industry. A minimum of 5 years in business development, strategic alliances, or key account management, specifically in the CDMO sector, is required. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in the medical device product development lifecycle, including design transfer, process development, and commercialization.
