About the role

We are partnering with multiple insurance organizations seeking experienced California Workers' Compensation Adjusters for fully remote contract opportunities supporting a variety of claim programs, including municipal and public entity accounts. This opportunity stands out in today's market because it offers the ability to work fully remote while supporting stable, long-term programs with competitive hourly compensation and strong contractor benefits. If you're a California Workers' Compensation professional looking for a flexible remote opportunity with strong compensation and benefits, this is the type of role experienced adjusters often pursue. What Makes This Role Different ✔ Up to $53/hour ✔ Contractor benefits including PTO, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more ✔ 100% remote work environment (CA residency required) ✔ Multiple account options including municipal/public entity programs ✔ Opportunity to support established TPAs and carriers ✔ Stable claim environments with experienced teams
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage California Workers' Compensation claims from investigation through resolution
  • Conduct compensability investigations and administer statutory benefits
  • Coordinate with defense counsel, nurse case managers, and medical providers
  • Manage litigated claims, mediations, and settlement negotiations when applicable
Ideal Background:
  • Indemnity claims handling preferred
  • Experience managing litigated claims
  • Why Claims Professionals Are Interested
Experienced California WC adjusters know that fully remote opportunities at this pay level—combined with contractor benefits like PTO, medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k)—are becoming increasingly rare. These roles offer the chance to step into well-supported programs where adjusters can focus on quality claim handling rather than overwhelming desk conditions. For many professionals, it's an opportunity to maintain a strong work-life balance while continuing to work on meaningful claims within stable, well-established programs. Interested? If you're open to learning more, feel free to apply directly or message us confidentially for additional details. All inquiries will be handled confidentially. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
