About the role
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Model-Based Enterprise Principal Engineer will lead digital engineering initiatives, drive Model-Based Definition (MBD) adoption, and oversee supplier enablement programs to enhance data reusability and digital transformation across engineering and manufacturing environments.
Key responsibilitiesLead technical strategy and execution of customer-aligned digital engineering and MBE initiatives
Own and drive supplier enablement programs, including capability assessments and digital transformation roadmaps
Define and govern MBD standards and practices, transitioning from traditional 2D to scalable model-based workflowsRequired qualificationsU.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related engineering discipline
5+ years of experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD) in a Siemens NX CAD platform
3+ years of experience leading MBD or similar digital transformations
Advanced knowledge of model-based engineering standards and practices, including ASME Y14.5 and ASME Y14.41
