About the role
Virginia Commonwealth University seeks an accomplished Associate or Full Professor in Information Systems to lead a research program at the intersection of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and healthcare systems. Key qualifications:
Ph.D. with internationally recognized research program integrating artificial intelligence and advanced analytics in healthcare systems
Record of publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals appropriate to career stage
Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with diverse faculty, staff and students
Record of pursuing or securing external research funding, or demonstrated potential to do so
Evidence of excellence or strong potential in teaching, mentoring, and academic leadership
Demonstrated success or strong potential in collaborative transdisciplinary research
