VA State Inspector And Emissions Inspector Join Midas STERLING as a VA State Inspector and Emissions Inspector, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicle safety and environmental compliance. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure adherence to Virginia state regulations. Perform emissions testing and diagnostics, ensuring compliance with environmental standards. Document inspection results accurately and provide clear reports to customers. Communicate effectively with customers regarding inspection findings and necessary repairs. Stay updated on state inspection laws and regulations to maintain compliance. Assist in training and mentoring junior inspectors as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements: Valid Virginia State Inspector and Emissions Inspector licenses are required. Proven experience in vehicle inspection and emissions testing. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and inspection equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Flexible schedule availability, including weekends if necessary.
