About the role
- Develop and maintain data pipelines that collect and process information from multiple sources
- Design data models that enable reporting, analytics, and operational insights
- Enhance a cloud-based data platform to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
- Build solutions using Python, SQL, and dbt
- Support and optimize Azure-based data infrastructure
- Lead data engineering initiatives from design through deployment
- Implement processes for data quality, monitoring, and operational excellence
- Identify and drive improvements across existing data systems
- Partner with analytics teams, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions
- Help define platform architecture and long-term data strategy
- 3-8 years of Data Engineering experience
- Strong experience with Python and SQLExperience building and supporting ETL/data pipeline solutions
- Hands-on experience with dbt and modern data transformation practices
- Experience working with Azure or other cloud-based data environments
- Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and platform architecture
- Experience supporting production data environments and troubleshooting issues
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field preferred
