ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST IIUnder general supervision by the Zoning Administrator, performs specialized clerical and administrative duties. Exercises judgment in applying established policies and procedures. Performs general administrative duties of routine difficulty such as organizing, developing, and implementing procedures and preparing reports. Processes payments for various fees and services and performs detailed data entry functions to varous software. Assists in providing general zoning informaton to the public and assists with daily customer service operations. Provides administrative support for boards, committees, or other meetings; prepares meeting agendas, packets, and related documentation; coordinates meeting rooms/facilities, equipment, and refreshments; notifies participants of scheduled meetings; submits public notices to newspapers, property owners, or others as required; prepares and distributes meeting minutes to appropriate indiciduals; and maintains official records. High school diploma or GED required; supplemented by two years of experience in customer service, administrative/clerical support, or related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
