Role Description The Automotive Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager is an immediate opening for a full-time, on-site role based in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for presenting finance and insurance products to customers, explaining protection plans and warranties, and securing approvals through lenders while ensuring compliance with all regulations and dealership policies. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing finance documents, accurately processing contracts, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with sales teams to maximize product penetration and dealership profitability. The F&I Manager will also build strong relationships with customers by clearly outlining terms, answering questions, and ensuring a transparent and respectful buying experience. Additional responsibilities include monitoring lender programs, staying current on industry trends and compliance requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement of F&I processes.QualificationsStrong automotive F&I expertise, including presenting finance and insurance products, structuring deals, and working with multiple lenders and extended warranty providers.Solid sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle objections, and communicate complex financial information in a clear and respectful manner.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to automotive finance, privacy, and consumer protection, with a commitment to ethical and transparent practices.Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS), F&I software, and standard office applications for accurate documentation and reporting.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.Previous experience as an Automotive F&I Manager, Finance Manager, or similar dealership role is highly preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.Ability to work on-site in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area, including evenings and weekends as required by dealership operations.
