About the role

About the Role: A well-established organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead its government contract billing function. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role supervises a team of three and oversees accurate, timely invoicing and collections.
Key Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle invoicing for CPFF, FFP, and T&M contracts, including electronic submissions through customer billing systems Establish and maintain billing standards, procedures, and templates for the AR team Reconcile billings and payments, monitor receivable balances, and drive collections Report on unbilled receivables and invoicing status to management Support month-end close and reconcile AR-related general ledger accounts Partner with Contracts on final invoices and closeout Oversee project setup in Deltek Costpoint
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred 5+ years of government contract billing and collections experience Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, WAWF/iRAPT, IPP, and VIPERSSolid understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and FAR cost principles Advanced Excel skills and strong written and verbal communicationUS citizenship required; must pass a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
