Lab Science Saves Lives: Clinical Laboratory Supervisors Make It Possible Histology Supervisor - Full-Time - Evenings Within the Clinical Laboratories of NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, each achievement is defined by a commitment to getting it right the first time, every time. In this exciting role you will coordinate a wide variety of administrative, fiscal, personnel, technical and clerical activities to ensure operation of the Histology Laboratory. Initiate new procedures as well as study, refine and modify established methods and techniques. Serve as a resource to the Leadership Team. Address complaints regarding laboratory functions and work with the Leadership team as well as the staff to resolve identified problems. Provide direction and supervision to Lead Histotechnologist, Histotechnologists and support staff. This is an evening shift position, working Tuesday - Saturday from 2pm - 10pm. Saturday shifts require flexibility in scheduling for early or late hours. Required Criteria B.S. degree in Medical Technology or related science New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or Certified Histology Technician License from New York Education Department Minimum 4 years' experience as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high. Salary Range:
