Job Description:
Job Description A large construction company is hiring an experienced mechanic. This position requires traveling between jobsites to troubleshoot and repair down equipment. Schedule is Monday - Friday plus overtime. Equipment You'll Work On- Cranes, excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, graders, dump trucks, and other hydraulically powered machinery.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical or electrical faults.- Repair or rebuild pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, and diesel components.- Perform preventive maintenance, hydraulic pressure and flow tests, and final equipment checks.- Maintain service records and follow safety procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on heavy equipment repair experience, with strong diesel and hydraulic knowledge.- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently in the field.- Ability to read hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.- Certification in hydraulics or heavy equipment maintenance.- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and availability to travel between jobsites.- OSHA certification is a plus.
