About the role
The Contract Operations Specialist is responsible for reviewing executed customer contracts and accurately entering key commercial terms into internal systems. This includes products and services purchased, pricing, contract dates, billing terms, and payment schedules. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies before they impact billing, finance, or other downstream processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Review customer contracts, order forms, amendments, and renewals to identify key commercial terms. Accurately enter products, pricing, contract dates, billing schedules, payment terms, and other contract details into internal systems. Verify that system information accurately reflects the executed contract. Identify missing, conflicting, or unclear information and coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Process new orders, renewals, expansions, amendments, and other contract changes. Maintain accurate and complete contract and order records. Perform quality checks to minimize errors and support accurate billing and reporting. Follow established procedures and internal controls while meeting processing deadlines. Assist with process improvements that increase efficiency and data accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in contract administration, order management, sales operations, billing, finance operations, or a related field preferred. Experience with CRM, ERP, contract management, or order management systems is a plus.
