Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Yard Attendant to join our team in Danville, CA. As a Yard Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility. Responsibilities: Maintain a clean and organized yard area, ensuring all materials and equipment are stored properly. Assist customers with loading and unloading materials, providing excellent customer service. Conduct regular inspections of the yard to identify and address any safety hazards. Operate yard equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Perform routine maintenance on yard equipment and report any issues to management. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment (certification preferred).Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. You should be proficient in: Driver's License Warehouse Experience Material Handler Experience Industrial Cleaning Equipment Operation Loading and Unloading Vehicles Forklift Licensed Machines & technologies you'll use: Forklifts
