About the role
Night Shift Haul Truck Driver Saiia Construction, a Mas Tec company, is seeking a dependable Night Shift Haul Truck Driver. Working Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, you will safely transport and handle loose materials within a fast-paced quarry environment. Proven rock or haul truck experience in a quarry setting is required, along with a strong commitment to OSHA and MSHA safety standards. While an MSHA certification is preferred, it is not requiredwe will fully support and help you obtain it on the job. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment including excavator, dozers, graders, dump trucks, front-end loaders, compactors, scrapers, and water trucks to move materials to and from designated areas, participate in required training and ensure all established safety rules, procedures, policies, OSHA and MSHA regulations are followed. Qualifications include knowledge of EPA, OSHA, MSHA and other related state and federal regulations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to use email, smart phone, tablet, or computer to manage company information and documents. Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance standards per employee handbook. Approach and complete work in a meticulous, thorough, and timely manner. Physical requirements include lifting/carrying 0-10 lbs. occasionally, lifting/carrying 10-50 lbs. occasionally, reaching above occasionally, bending/stooping occasionally, using hands for manipulations continuously, and having close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear equipment and facility signals, horns and alarms; radio, and phone communications.
