Staff Accountant - Manufacturing & Project Accounting

What You Will Be Doing: Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger activity Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer invoicing, cash application, vendor payments, and sales tax compliance Partner with Project Managers, Purchasing, and Operations to support job costing, project accounting, retainage tracking, change orders, and financial reporting Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, audits, 1099 reporting, tax preparation, and internal control compliance Identify and implement process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and accounting controls What You Need for this Position Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2 years of accounting experience in a Staff Accountant, Accounting Manager, Project Accountant, or similar role Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes Experience in a construction, project-based, manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, or operational accounting environment, including job costing and project accounting concepts Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel, along with experience supporting financial reporting and audit processes Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work closely with Project Managers, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance leadership What's In It for You Full Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k w/ matching) and more!
