Overview: A financial institution is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to support the day-to-day administration and servicing of loan accounts. This role will handle payment research and adjustments, account maintenance, customer inquiries, and other servicing activities while working closely with lending teams and customers. The ideal candidate will bring several years of relevant banking or loan servicing experience and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: Research missing, misapplied, or incorrectly posted loan payments. Process payment reversals and other account adjustments in accordance with established procedures. Prepare and provide loan payoff information and documentation. Research and respond to customer questions and servicing requests. Partner with lending teams to resolve customer issues and complaints. Answer inbound customer calls and provide professional assistance. Maintain loan payment schedules, interest rates, billing information, and other account records. Establish and maintain ACH/AFT payment arrangements. Process customer address changes and related account maintenance requests. Ensure loan servicing activities are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
