Agent in Training – Insurance Sales & Agency Development Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Fremont, MI Base Pay + Uncapped Commission The Opportunity If you're looking for more than just another sales job, this is an opportunity to learn how a high-performing insurance agency actually operates from the inside. We're looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial Agent in Training to work directly alongside one of the top-performing Farmers Insurance agents in the company. You'll spend the majority of your time building your skills as a Sales Producer while also gaining hands-on exposure to the business side of running a successful agency. You'll learn inside an established operation with 5+ team members, led by a Top 10% Farmers agent, Toppers Club qualifier, and record-setting producer within the district. This role is designed for someone who wants to become an exceptional salesperson now while developing the leadership and business skills that can create bigger career opportunities in the future. What You'll Do Approximately 75% of your role will focus on sales and production, including: Work agency-provided leads and build your own pipeline Make outbound calls and follow up with prospective customers Quote and sell insurance products Cross-sell additional products to existing and new customers Build referral relationships and generate new opportunities Meet and exceed individual sales and production goals The other 25% is focused on learning the business behind the sales. Working alongside an experienced agency leader, you'll gain exposure to: Agency operations and workflow Sales leadership and performance management Hiring, recruiting, and team development Marketing and lead acquisition Budgeting and financial management Profitability and business planning Customer retention and relationship management Technology and systems Compliance and risk management Building and leading a high-performing team Who We're Looking For Insurance experience is a plus, but it is not required. We're more interested in finding someone with the drive and personality to succeed.
