Joining our team as a research intern means working with a group of innovative and collaborative scientists who share the mission of bringing the promise of immune cell therapy to all cancer patients. Traditional cell therapy development faces a trade-off between in vitro approaches that are fast but inaccurate, and in vivo approaches that are accurate but slow and expensive. Waypoint has built a proprietary spatial biology & machine learning platform that enables pooled cell therapy screens in vivo - profiling how hundreds of designs affect a solid tumor in a single mouse, while measuring each design's performance across distinct clinically relevant parameters. This high-throughput approach compresses years of work into a single experiment by achieving >100x the throughput of conventional animal experiments.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
