NEXT Industries is looking for a dynamic Outside Sales Rep/Account Manager in the Northern Michigan area. We’re looking for an experienced, high-energy sales professional with a strong background in industrial distribution and a solid understanding of cutting tools and industrial supply. This individual will be responsible for building long-term relationships with both existing and prospective customers, providing technical solutions, and driving revenue growth in their territory. Our philosophy is built on understanding each customer's specific needs. NEXT has the capability of combining a big catalog product offering with local support. We are defined by our experienced staff that have technical knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities: -Manage and grow an established territory, servicing both existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.-Develop strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.-Provide customers with product knowledge, particularly in cutting tools, machining, and related industrial supplies.-Conduct on-site visits to customer facilities to assess needs and offer tailored solutions.-Collaborate with internal teams including quoting, pricing, and customer service to ensure client satisfaction.-Maintain accurate records, including sales activity, customer interactions, and forecasts.-Attend industry trade shows, training sessions, and vendor meetings as needed.
Qualifications: -3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in industrial supply distribution to include MRO and cutting tools.-Strong technical knowledge of cutting tools or related manufacturing processes.-Proven ability to manage a territory, grow accounts, and achieve sales targets.-Self-motivated, with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
