Overview:
#HireNRHS $20,000 Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Assistance Available Participates in all clinical pharmacy services, supports distributive pharmacy services, and ensures the pharmacy provides optimal pharmaceutical care to all patients on a daily basis. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical and distributive processes, as well as pharmacy programs that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies for all age groups.
Responsibilities:
Ensures age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients. Participates in departmental targeted clinical programs as assigned. Process orders and dispense medications according to established policies, procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Administration of the ACGME accreditation and reporting requirements to external agencies. Ensure age-appropriate, safe, and cost-effective medication therapies for patients. Contribute to the educational goals of the department. Enhance the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of pharmacy processes, to promote patient safety and improve outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharm D degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Experience:
Preferred completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or equivalent, but not required. Preferred clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
Licensure/Certification:
Required licensure as a pharmacist and in good standing with the OK State Board of Pharmacy.
Required to maintain preceptor license through the OK State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
Required to achieve/maintain ASHP-endorsed PGY1 residency program preceptorship upon hire.
Strongly encouraged to achieve/maintain board-certification in related practice area.
Compensation/Benefits Up to $81.87/hr. based on previous work experience.
Weekday Evening differential $3.00/hr. Weekday Night differential $3.50/hr.
Weekend Day differential $3.50/hr (stacks on evening OR night differential)
