About the role

IDR is seeking a driven, hunter-minded Account Manager – New Business Development to accelerate net-new business growth across the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and winning new client relationships while expanding IDR’s presence throughout the DFW area.To be considered for this position, candidates must have at least 2 years of sales/business development experience within the staffing industry. Experience in IT staffing is strongly preferred.The Account Manager will own the full business development cycle, from prospecting and discovery through contract execution and account launch. This individual will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of prospective clients, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and partnering closely with IDR’s recruiting and delivery teams to successfully launch and grow new accounts.Who Thrives in This Role?This role is built for someone who enjoys creating opportunities rather than inheriting an established book of business. You’re energized by prospecting, comfortable opening doors from scratch, persistent in developing new relationships, and motivated by building a territory and watching it grow.What You'll DoDevelop new business across the Dallas-Fort Worth marketBuild and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, conferences, and market research.Build relationships with technology, procurement, hiring, and executive stakeholders.Conduct discovery and position IDR’s IT staffing and workforce solutions based on client needs.Manage the sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution, job orders, and account launch.Grow newly established accounts by identifying additional departments, projects, and staffing opportunities.Partner with IDR’s recruiting teams to translate client needs into clear search priorities.Maintain accurate CRM activity, pipeline, and forecasting.Represent IDR at relevant client meetings, conferences, and industry events.What We’re Looking For2+ years of hunter-focused business development or consultative sales experience within the IT Staffing industry.Demonstrated success opening new accounts and converting prospects into revenue-generating clients.Strong prospecting, discovery, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable independently building a territory.Ability to work effectively with executive, technical, procurement, recruiting, and delivery stakeholders.Experience using CRM and sales-tracking tools to manage activity, pipeline, and forecasts.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.What's in it for you?Competitive base + uncapped commission + bonus opportunitiesFully remote: Work remotely while remaining available for in-person client and prospect meetings as needed.
