Position Summary:
Guardian Vets is seeking an experienced Veterinary Sales Executive who knows the veterinaryindustry, understands the challenges practices face and knows how to turn those challengesinto sales opportunities. This is a hunter role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and closingnew business. The ideal candidate can engage veterinary leaders, uncover their needs andconnect them with solutions that deliver meaningful business value.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development Prospect and develop new veterinary practice and organization opportunities. Build a healthy pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, referrals and industryevents. Develop relationships with practice owners, DVMs, practice managers and veterinarybusiness leaders. Meet or exceed established pipeline and revenue goals. Consultative Selling Lead discovery conversations to uncover operational, staffing, client experience andgrowth challenges. Connect customer needs to the right Guardian Vets solutions rather than simplypresenting products. Demonstrate business value around areas such as after-hours coverage, missed calls, staffing pressures, appointment capture, client retention and efficiency. Deliver compelling presentations, address objections and confidently ask for thebusiness. Sales Execution Own opportunities from initial prospecting through proposal, negotiation and close. Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunities and next steps. Consistently follow up and move opportunities through the sales process. Provide reliable pipeline forecasts and market insights to leadership. Partner with Operations and Onboarding to ensure a strong customer handoff. Industry Engagement Maintain a strong understanding of veterinary practice operations and industry trends. Build relationships within the veterinary community and represent Guardian Vets atindustry events. Share customer and market insights that help strengthen our solutions and go-to-marketstrategy.
Qualifications:
5+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within the veterinary industry. Demonstrated success in a hunter/new-business sales role generating pipeline andclosing business. Strong knowledge of veterinary practices and their operational challenges. Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation and closing skills. Comfortable prospecting and initiating conversations with new customers. Highly organized with disciplined pipeline and follow-up management. Comfortable with CRM, prospecting and sales technology. Ability to travel periodically for customer meetings and industry events.
