About the role
To support a critical security and compliance initiative, the full-time remote Git Lab Administrator will manage the migration of service accounts to Git Lab native service accounts, ensuring secure decommissioning of old access and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
Manually migrate existing service accounts to Git Lab native service accounts, ensuring secure credential handling
Update and replicate permissions, group access, and project access for all migrated automation identities
Debug and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and integrations impacted by service credential changes during migration
Required qualifications:
Mid- to senior-level experience in software engineering, Dev Ops, or platform engineering
Hands-on experience with Git Lab administration and permissions management
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated tooling
Experience with rotating or replacing credentials and securely decommissioning legacy access
Prior experience migrating service accounts or identity access management (IAM) configurations
