Sales & Brand Manager
uniquitiesRaleigh (NC)
About the role
We’re looking for a dynamic, fashion-obsessed Sales & Brand Manager who thrives on the sales floor and loves creating an incredible retail experience from every angle. This is not your typical retail management role. You’ll be part stylist, part sales leader, part visual merchandiser, part content creator, and part store operator — helping bring the Uniquities brand to life every day. From building client relationships and styling the perfect fitting room to merchandising new arrivals and capturing content for social, you’ll have a hand in what our customers see, feel, and experience when they walk through our doors. WHAT YOU’LL OWNSALES + STYLINGAt the heart of this role is the client. You’ll lead by example on the sales floor — building genuine relationships, creating thoughtful head-to-toe looks, developing a strong personal client book, and turning everyday shopping trips into memorable styling experiences. You’ll also help energize the team around daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals while identifying opportunities to grow the business. CLIENT EXPERIENCEHelp create the kind of experience that makes customers want to come back again and again. You’ll set the tone on the floor, support personalized outreach, help develop VIP clients, and ensure every interaction feels warm, elevated, engaging, and distinctly Uniquities. VISUAL MERCHANDISINGYou’ll have a creative hand in how the store looks and feels. From styling mannequins and refreshing displays to merchandising new deliveries and identifying product opportunities, you’ll help keep the store inspiring, current, and highly shoppable. You’ll constantly be thinking: How can we make this product come alive for our customer? SOCIAL + CONTENT CREATIONOur stores are an extension of our brand — and we want the personalities behind them to shine. You’ll help capture authentic, on-brand content featuring new arrivals, styling ideas, store moments, events, and trends. This could mean styling a try-on, filming a quick Reel, highlighting a favorite new arrival, or helping create content that gives our community a reason to visit the store. Being comfortable on camera is a major plus. STORE OPERATIONSBehind every beautiful store is strong execution. You’ll help keep the business running smoothly through opening and closing procedures, inventory management, product transfers, shipment processing, operational standards, event execution, and maintaining an organized and elevated selling environment.
WHO YOU ARE:
You’re someone who genuinely loves fashion, people, and the energy of retail. You have a strong personal sense of style and naturally notice the details — how a rack is merchandised, how an outfit is styled, how a customer is greeted, and what could make the experience even better. You’re confident in initiating conversations and building relationships. You’re motivated by sales and goals, but never at the expense of an authentic client experience. You’re creative, resourceful, organized, and comfortable switching gears throughout the day. One minute you may be styling a longtime client, the next merchandising a new delivery, filming content, preparing for an event, or helping solve an operational need. Most importantly, you’re someone who wants to own a piece of the business, not simply work a shift. YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE IF YOU…Love styling and putting together incredible outfits Get excited when new product hits the floor Are energized by meeting people and building long-term client relationships Enjoy selling and working toward ambitious goals Have an eye for visual merchandising and presentation Naturally think about social media, trends, and content Are comfortable jumping between creative and operational responsibilities Want autonomy, responsibility, and room to make an impact Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial retail environmentWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKESuccess in this role means growing your client relationships and personal sales, contributing to the store’s overall performance, maintaining an inspiring sales floor, creating meaningful brand moments both in-store and online, and becoming someone the team and our customers can count on. You aren't simply managing the store. You're helping shape the experience, the community, and the business.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
