About the role

Manufacturer for Defense and Commercial industries requires experienced Quality Manager. Successful candidate will work in all aspects of Quality Assurance. Interpretation of Customer Requirements, Inspection Plan Development, and experience in Implementation of Customer Requirements is a must. Applicants must be experienced in the correct technique and use of measuring instruments. Salary based on experience.
Requirements: · Ability to interpret Customer Contracts/Purchase Orders, Technical Data Packages and DOD Specifications· Write Plans of Inspection and determine gage requirements· Write and apply SPC plans· Experience with ISO 9001-2015 and DOD requirements· Corrective Action initiation, verification, and follow-up· Gage calibration experience a plus· Working knowledge of measuring instruments including:· Coordinate measuring machines (CMM)· Optical Comparator· Measuring equipment & techniques (micrometers, calipers, attribute gages, etc.)
Education and Experience: · Minimum of Associate of Science Degree, Bachelor of Science Degree a plus· Minimum of four years’ experience required· ASQ Certified Quality Engineer a plus Normal hours of operation for this position are four 10 hour workdays, M-TH 6 am – 4:30 pm, with overtime required as necessary.
