Chief Estimator - Structural Concrete

Description: Reporting directly into the Regional Manager, the main duties and responsibilities of the Chief Estimator / VP will be: Estimate from both concept designs and complete designs Completion of all aspects of project bidding including plan and specification takeoff, pricing, and client communication / follow-upAssist with the development, updating and implementation of an estimating database with assemblies Assist or lead the process of implementation of estimating program software system Maintain a cost history data base Review rewarded bids with Construction team to ensure budget accuracy and resource allocation Interact with owner-clients and General Contractors to build and maintain relationships As team grows, lead the development efforts for less experienced Estimating staff ProfileBachelor Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction-related area, or equivalent hands-on experience with a structural concrete background 8+ years in concrete estimating Exceptional knowledge of cast-in-place concrete concepts, processes, and functions Hands on construction experience in an advantage Extremely good communication and team-building skills Desire to grow with an organization and stay local to the Memphis area Job OfferMarket-leading base salary Performance related bonus scheme (Paid per-project) Company vehicle and gas card Full insurance offerings across all areas with generous employer contribution 401K plan with employer match Minimal travel requirements
