We emphasize teamwork and a collaborative spirit, ensuring that all staff members feel supported while engaging with a diverse client population.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough and maintain up-to-date crisis alerts, coordinating with local county services to ensure timely support for clients in crisis situations.Facilitate and document transitions of care, including hospital admissions and discharges, working closely with hospital staff to ensure a seamless client experience.Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques to effectively manage client interactions and stabilize situations, acting as the Clinician of the Day to provide milieu support as necessary.Perform and document risk assessments, developing comprehensive safety plans that address the immediate needs of each client.Maintain meticulous documentation of encounters and strategies implemented, ensuring same-day completion for those potentially at risk of crisis incidents.Patient Population / Client FocusOur ideal candidates will work with a diverse population of clients facing a range of mental health challenges. You will interact with individuals across various backgrounds who require immediate psychological support and longer-term therapeutic interventions. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating their access to crucial resources, promoting self-advocacy, and empowering each client on their unique path to wellness.QualificationsA Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.Possession of an active and valid professional license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) to practice as a mental health counselor.Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively and manage a high caseload while ensuring the quality of services.Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.Preferred ExperienceExperience working in a telehealth setting, with proficiency in relevant online counseling platforms and documentation systems.Background in crisis intervention and crisis management techniques.Experience in developing individualized treatment plans and implementing goal-oriented strategies.Familiarity with community resources and the ability to navigate healthcare systems to support clients effectively.Compensation and BenefitsThis full-time role offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and workload.
