Solomon Page is hiring Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) for opportunities across a variety of Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout New York and Connecticut. This is an exciting opportunity for new graduates looking to build their clinical skills, gain hands-on experience, and begin their careers working alongside experienced rehabilitation professionals in the skilled nursing setting. What You'll Do: Provide occupational therapy treatment under the direction of an Occupational Therapist Help patients work toward greater independence with daily activities and functional skills Carry out individualized therapy plans and monitor patient progress Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, nursing, and other members of the care team Educate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey Develop valuable hands-on experience working in a skilled nursing environment
Qualifications: Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Appropriate state OTA licensure or eligibility for the state in which you will work Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for rehabilitation and helping patients improve their independence New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply!
