Environmental Assistant Staff Project Manager

Responsibilities: The Environmental Assistant Staff Project Manager supports environmental consulting projects through fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and project coordination activities. This role provides foundational experience in environmental consulting services, including due diligence, assessment, remediation, and compliance. The Environmental Assistant Staff Project Manager develops technical competency, project understanding, and early project management skills under supervision while demonstrating ECS Core Values. AsResponsibilitiesPerforms Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) under supervision Conducts site reconnaissance, file reviews, and report preparation with senior staff Develops technical writing skills and contributes to reports Interacts and collaborates with staff members on a variety of environmental projects Attends project meetings with senior staff and participates in project discussions Interfaces with contractors, clients, and site personnel during field activities Communicates daily with project teams and keeps supervisors informed of site conditions and project needs Implements field tasks and project activities as directed by senior staff Assists with scheduling, training, and oversight of environmental technicians Supports project setup and implementation under supervision Collects, documents, and reports field observations accurately Assists with environmental sampling, data collection, and analysis Supports preparation of reports, calculations, and project documentation Participates in project coordination, including tracking tasks and deliverables Assists with proposal preparation and project planning activities Performs additional technical and project support duties as assigned
