Equipment Technician (Per Diem)Trinity Health Alert is seeking a Per Diem Equipment Technician to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors throughout our service area. In this role, you will travel to client homes to install, service, and remove medical equipment that supports home safety and independence. Our equipment includes: Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS)Telehealth/Home Monitoring Systems Medication Dispensing Units This flexible position is ideal for retirees, semi-retired individuals, or anyone who enjoys driving, meeting new people, and helping others.
Schedule: Per diem, as needed Typically, 1-2 days per week 4-8 hours per day
Responsibilities:
Travel to client homes throughout the service area Install and configure personal emergency response and telehealth equipment Educate clients, primarily seniors, on how to operate equipment and take vital signs Demonstrate proper use of emergency response buttons for medical emergencies Perform equipment troubleshooting, service calls, and repairs Remove equipment when services are discontinued Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring clients feel comfortable and confident using their equipment
Qualifications:
Valid New York State Driver's License required Reliable personal vehicle required Comfortable driving throughout the service area Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patient, compassionate, and able to work effectively with seniors Basic technical aptitude and ability to learn equipment setup and troubleshooting

Flat rate:$20.00 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
