Job Description: Turret & Counterbalance Forklift Operator
Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and experienced Turret & Counterbalance Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating both turret and counterbalance forklifts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential.
Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments according to company procedures. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Safely operate Turret Forklift and Counterbalance Forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials. Maintain organized and clean work areas to comply with safety and quality standards. Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies to management promptly. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily distribution goals. Adhere to all company policies, including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.6 months–2 years of forklift operating experience. Experience operating both Turret Forklift and Counterbalance Forklift is required. Familiarity with inventory management systems and barcode scanning technology. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Skills Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and documentation. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds regularly. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Adaptability and time management. Strong attention to safety and detail. Shift 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM–1:00 AMTraining: New hires will train on 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, before transitioning to the regular 2nd Shift schedule.
