Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year A bit about us: We are working with a highly regarded boutique law firm in the St. Louis market known for its strong litigation capabilities and sophisticated domestic relations practice. The firm represents a diverse client base that includes professionals, business owners, and high-net-worth individuals, and is recognized for handling complex and contested family law matters.
Why join us? This is an opportunity to step into a more strategic, high-complexity family law practice compared to high-volume domestic relations environments. Attorneys benefit from immediate responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and direct client contact within a collaborative, partner-accessible setting. The practice offers strong autonomy, high-quality casework, and the ability to work closely with attorneys across complementary practice areas when financial or cross-disciplinary issues arise. This is an ideal role for someone looking to deepen their litigation experience and move into more sophisticated domestic relations work.
Job Details: The firm is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to manage a diverse caseload of domestic relations matters from intake through resolution. Responsibilities include managing all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation. Attorneys will represent clients in divorce, custody, support, and post-judgment matters, while also handling complex financial issues such as business interests, real estate holdings, and asset division. The role also involves active participation in mediation, settlement negotiations, and courtroom advocacy. Candidates should have 38+ years of family law experience, strong litigation and courtroom skills, and experience handling contested domestic matters. Exposure to high-asset or financially complex divorce cases is a plus. Compensation is expected to range from $110,000 $160,000, depending on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package and long-term growth potential. Interested in hearing more? Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
