Job Schedule:
  • DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMHow This Role Works:
  • Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
  • In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.
  • This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility policies, helping to maintain orderly movement throughout the location. Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in a timely and accurate manner.
Minimum Requirements: Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines. Be able to restrain individuals as required. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
