Role Description: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, NE. The CEO will provide overall strategic direction, set organizational priorities, and ensure that business objectives align with the company’s mission of connecting skilled workers to high-quality companies. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing financial performance, managing operations, guiding business development and sales efforts, and fostering strong relationships with clients and key partners. The CEO will lead and mentor the leadership team, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and drive continuous improvement in staffing processes and service delivery. This role also involves representing the organization in the community and industry, promoting a culture of accountability, inclusion, and high ethical standards.
Qualifications: Strong finance and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Proven experience in operations management and business planning within staffing, manufacturing, construction, or related industries. Demonstrated success in sales, client relations, and business development. Expertise in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and long-term growth initiatives. Ability to lead and develop diverse teams, with strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Experience building partnerships with employers and workforce communities; familiarity with staffing or recruiting is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an advantage. Track record of on-site leadership in a fast-paced environment and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive workplace practices.
