About the role
- Lead commercial carpentry crews on projects throughout the Philadelphia Tri-State area
- Coordinate daily field operations, manpower, and workflow
- Oversee metal stud framing, drywall, ceilings, and finish carpentry
- Install doors, frames, hardware, windows, and related building components
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors
- Monitor jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
- Track productivity and project progress
- Train and mentor crew members while maintaining high workmanship standards
- Minimum 3 years of commercial carpentry experience with supervisory or foreman responsibilities
- Strong background in metal framing, drywall, and commercial finish carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
- Experience with commercial door, frame, hardware, and ceiling system installation
- Strong leadership, communication, and crew coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain production schedulesOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel between local job sites as needed
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in active construction environments
