About the role

Overview As a Data Scientist in Free Wheel’s Audience & AI group within Revenue Science, you apply data analyses, AI, and ML to support ad tech product development. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to build robust data-driven solutions and predictive models that inform product decisions. You’ll tackle large datasets, optimize data pipelines, and apply rigorous analytics to deliver measurable impact. Compensation / Benefitsbest-in-class benefitscompetitive compensationbonus eligibilitycommission eligibility for sales rolescomprehensive health and financial benefitstotal rewards package Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data-driven questions and run experiments for product and service enhancements Engineer and refine algorithms, data integration and cleansing processes across multiple sources Apply statistical methods and ML to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights Develop and deploy predictive analytics and ML models to support decision making in advertising technology Research and apply new data science techniques and technologies Apply advanced data visualization to communicate insights to stakeholders Work independently on multiple projects while contributing to a broader team effort Architect data mining models to identify trends and boost customer and product insights Synthesize forecasts and strategic recommendations using data science for project support Advance decision-making by exploring novel data science principles and emerging techniques Key requirements Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research)At least 2 years of experience with Python and SQL and implementing analytical models Experience with AWS, Databricks and Snowflake; other cloud/on-prem platforms a plus Knowledge of AI platforms (e.g., Amazon Bedrock) and AI orchestration tools (e.g., Lang Chain, Lang Graph) is desirable Experience with optimization models (Linear and Nonlinear Programming) is a plus Experience with data visualization tools like Looker and Tableau is a plus Skilled at data wrangling, ETL pipelines, and machine learning model building/evaluation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and deliver on complex projects Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences Strong interest in advertising technologystrong analytical mindseteffective communicator to non-technical audiencesindependent and proactive problem solver PythonSQLAWS
