Experienced Accountant $80,000-$90,000 base salary (depending on experience) Greater Phoenix, AZ (hybrid schedule) Vaco has partnered with an exciting company to hire their next Experienced Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting and financial reporting responsibilities while working closely with leadership on process improvements, strategic initiatives, and business growth. You'll play an integral role in maintaining reporting accuracy, strengthening controls, and supporting a collaborative, high-performing finance team. Prepare and review journal entries while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial results. Coordinate external audits and strengthen internal controls to support compliance and reporting quality. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to increase operational efficiency. Partner with business leaders on financial analysis, M&A initiatives, and cross-functional projects while mentoring junior team members. Requirements 1-2+ years of Top 10 Accounting Firm or Large Public Company Experience (Required) CPA or progress toward CPA (Preferred) Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (Required) The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan. #J-18808-Ljbffr
