About the role

Summary The Project Accountant 2 supports the Construction and Operations team by managing small project accounting from project setup through final closeout. This hybrid role works cross‑functionally to ensure accurate project transactions, fixed asset classification, and contract administration. The position requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and occasional travel to lead on‑site store fixture installations. Responsibilities Manage contract administration for consultants and general contractors Set up projects in Oracle and purchasing systems and maintain project records Review projects for correct fixed asset classification and use tax assessment Ensure accurate documentation of project transactions and support audits Lead on‑site store fixture installation process and travel as needed Review operating practices and implement process improvements Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field Experience with fixed asset accounting, construction, or property development preferred Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with Oracle, Coupa, Concur, Smartsheet a plus Strong analytical and mathematical skills with high accuracy Self‑starter with ownership, initiative, and ability to work collaboratively #J-18808-Ljbffr
