- This position contributes to our vision by:
- Creates technical documentation based on engineering drawings.
- Corresponds with Engineering and Manufacturing (and other applicable) departments to ensure correctness of technical documentation.
- Revises and maintains technical documentation based on engineering drawings and previous documentation.
- Creates and completes Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) updates and revisions as required.
- Creates and completes Service Bulletin/Service Information (SB/SIL) as required.
- Work within tight schedules to complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Candidate skills & requirements
At Safran Seats, we value service-oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.
Bachelor's degree in English or technical discipline or equivalent experience (6 Years in a related field) highly recommended.
Minimum two years' experience in technical writing desirable.
Must have working knowledge of blueprints.
Knowledge of Safran Seats USA products preferred.
Understanding of ATA Spec 2200 preferred.
Proficiency in at least 2 of the following programs or equivalent software recommended:
Arbortext:
- FramemakerGraphic software, such as IsoDraw, CorelMust have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
- Ability to read and review written communication.
- Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
