About the role

Vice President, Corporate Environment, Health & SafetyAs a Vice President, Corporate EHS, you will provide strategic leadership for Westinghouse's global Environmental, Health & Safety function. You will ensure the protection of employees and the environment through a culture of accountability, proactive risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. You will lead enterprise EHS strategy, governance, and performance across more than 50 facilities worldwide while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board on EHS risk, sustainability, and operational excellence. You will report to the EVP, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA, Blairsville, PA, Columbia, SC or Ogden, UT site. Hybrid Work Schedule.
Key Responsibilities: Lead programs that inspire a world-class culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization. Develop Westinghouse Global EHS strategy and governance framework in close collaboration with the company's needs. Lead enterprise-wide programs for occupational safety, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, and operational risk management. Lead the development of the Westinghouse EHS Management system, including development of policies, programs, and tools. Lead the EHS Risk-based Audit process, identify deficiencies, work with the teams to address gaps and identify action plans to preclude external agency audits or investigations. Oversee Westinghouse's sustainability programs to support the Corporate Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) program. Work with our teams to identify future EHS risks and develop global contingency plans. Report the performance of Westinghouse's industrial safety program across the company. Monitor corporate trends and help develop programs for improving performance. Design and deploy proactive measures to address potential risks in partnership with EHS leaders across the company. Report on companywide EHS risks and trends to Westinghouse Board of Directors and Executive leaders. Monitor all EHS policies to determine effectiveness and recommend and deliver improved results.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. We prefer an Industrial Safety, Environmental, MBA or Master's degree.12+ years of experience in a range of technical or manufacturing functions, with at least 5 years leading global EHS teams. ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 leadership experience. Experience working across global organizations. Expertise establishing global management systems, policies, and audit processes for EHS/Quality. Knowledge of federal, local, and global regulations. Certified Safety Professional, preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or Black Belt).The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $230,000 to $287,500 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
