About the Role:
As a Director, you will oversee a portfolio of complex projects, lead high-performing teams, and cultivate strong client relationships. This role is pivotal in driving project execution, financial performance, and talent development within a defined regional market. The Director will play a key role in ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of projects, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for a portfolio of projects within a defined regional market.
Lead and support data center campus teams, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to project goals.
Manage project execution, including schedules, budgets, and quality assurance across multiple job sites.
Oversee financial performance, including forecasting, margin preservation, and cash flow management.
Build and maintain executive-level client relationships, ensuring high client satisfaction and repeat business.
Develop and mentor project managers and superintendents, identifying and cultivating future leaders.
Standardize processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project controls and outcomes.
Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
Monitor job site activities, perform quality control, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Conduct regular project health assessments and participate in strategic planning sessions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.15+ years of construction experience, including Division 2-10 (concrete to finished trade).Minimum 3 years of data center project experience required.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and leading diverse teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project.
Experience with Yardi, Procore, CxAlloy, and Prolog preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship management skills.
Proven ability to drive financial performance and operational excellence.
