Utility Locator

What you'll do: Operate detection equipment to locate and mark standard (and complex) underground utilities, seeking guidance from experienced Locators as neededRead utility maps to find underground utilities correctlyDocument all locatesRespond promptly and courteously to excavation noticesCommunicate well with excavators, utility representatives, and company staffTroubleshoot difficult locates and help in locating high-profile cable lines as necessaryDig lightly with a shovel when necessaryWork overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as neededPerform work in all weather conditions What you'll needTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience A minimum of six months of locating experienceValid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Physical abilities & exposuresRoutinelywork alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, use keyboard and mouseOccasionallyuse portable ladder, work in confined spaces, and climb stairs Why grow your career with usYour career here is more than just a job - it's your pathway to opportunity.
