About the role

Meridian Waste seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and repairs at Noble Hill Landfill in Attalla, AL. You will diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on heavy machinery, with priority given to safety and efficiency.

Requirements include: 2+ years as a Diesel Mechanic, ability to lift 100 pounds, strong reading/writing skills, and ASE Diesel Certification preferred. Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
