About the role

Role: QA/QC or Construction Inspector, ideally with significant roofing expertise The Consultant is to perform the necessary tasks defined below. This includes the following items noted below. The Consultant will review all previous reports, drawings, field reports and photographs of the site and facilities to familiarize themselves with the work. The Consultant will perform onsite inspections of the site to determine if the work is being properly installed. The Consultant will provide daily reports of the work performed and their observations including any concerns noted. The Consultant will evaluate final system continuity, penetrations, terminations, drainage, and protective assemblies. Attend project meetings at the request of the Government. Review schedules and determine whether they are compliant with the contract documents and the work being performed. The Consultant will submit written reports of site visits and meetings. The Consultant will keep the Government informed of the progress and quality of the Work and advise and consult. The Consultant will notify the Government of any work not in conformity with the Construction Documents or agreed-to processes. The Consultant will make recommendations or suggestions for correction of any deficiencies or defects identified. The Consultant will perform punch list inspections and final inspections at substantial completion. The Consultant will confirm correction of outstanding deficiencies.
