About the role

Our client, a wholesale apparel company, is looking for an Account Executive to join their team in New York! The Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts while actively identifying and pursuing new customers and revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced apparel environment.*$75-100k + commission
Key Responsibilities: Manage, develop, and grow existing retail accounts Identify and pursue new business opportunities and prospective retail partners Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key customer contacts Develop sales strategies to increase revenue and expand product placement within existing accounts Present product assortments and opportunities to customers Partner closely with ownership, design, production, and logistics to ensure customer needs are met Track sales performance, orders, opportunities, and account activity Prepare and maintain sales reports and analyses using Excel Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for additional growth Stay informed on the competitive landscape, retail trends, and opportunities within the off-price market Take ownership of the sales process and follow through from initial opportunity to execution
Qualifications: Proven sales or account management experience, within apparel Off-price experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts and develop new business Strong relationship-building and communication skills Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage sales reports and analyze account performance Strong organizational and follow-through skills Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working within a lean organization Ability to collaborate effectively with design, production, logistics, and management Experience selling to off-price or major retail accounts is strongly preferred Please submit your resume for consideration!
