SUMMARY: Sensera Systems is seeking a dedicated security leader to proactively manage and strengthen our information security posture. This individual will transition security responsibilities from our current technical leadership to a full-time professional role, ensuring we meet the stringent security expectations of our customers and the evolving challenges of the cyber threat landscape. In addition, this individual will be expected to lead our office/company IT efforts, which includes management of our 3rd party IT provider and ensuring there is clear documentation of processes and secure data protocols in place. The position may also play a role in other quality system monitoring and auditing of established processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures. Conduct regular risk assessments and manage vulnerability programs. Perform security assessments on potential vendors and contractors, evaluating their compliance with Sensera security requirements. Oversee the deployment and maintenance of security technologies. Respond to security incidents and ensure business continuity. Achieve and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including SOC 2, NIST 800, FedRAMP, and GDPR.Foster a security-conscious culture through regular employee training. Serve as the primary customer point of contact for all security-related matters to build and maintain trust with clients, including responding to customer security questionnaires. Provide strategic leadership to increase investor and client confidence through effective risk management. Manage the 3rd party office/company IT provider to the SLA.Audit quality system processes.
QUALIFICATIONS: Specialized knowledge and training in information security frameworks and cybersecurity plus at least 5 years of experience in a SaaS / software business. Experience with cloud services security and associated risks. Demonstrated ability to manage compliance for standards such as SOC 2, NIST, or FedRAMP.Strong communication skills to interface with enterprise customers and internal stakeholders. Advanced security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM).Experience in high-growth technology environments. WHAT YOU’LL GET:Base salary in the $120,000 to $150,000 range commensurate with experience.
