Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week, Wednesday-Friday. Wednesday and Thursday will be onsite in the DC office, with the potential to work remotely on Fridays. Hours may vary somewhat based on weekly reporting volume. Dates: ASAP through the end of December 2026
Pay: $24/hour
Position Type: Temporary, Part-Time The Choice is seeking a part-time Sales Support & Data Reporting Assistant to support our client, a well-known national media and broadcasting organization, with weekly advertising reporting and data processing. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly detail-oriented, comfortable working in Excel, and enjoys focused, independent work. Prior broadcasting or media experience is not required, though an interest in the media, advertising, or broadcasting industries is welcome.
Responsibilities: Review and process two large advertising reports in Excel each week. Work through high-volume spreadsheets to verify, classify, and accurately enter information into the company's advertising order management system. Review data for discrepancies, duplicate entries, and other potential issues requiring additional attention. Complete weekly reporting accurately and within established deadlines. Maintain a high level of accuracy while performing repetitive, detail-intensive work. Ask appropriate questions and flag information that appears inconsistent or requires clarification. Work independently while collaborating with sales support team members as needed. Maintain confidentiality when working with company and client information.
Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Comfortable working extensively in Microsoft Excel, including sorting and filtering large spreadsheets. Ability to work efficiently with large amounts of data and perform repetitive tasks without sacrificing accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Able to work independently, stay focused, and take ownership of assigned work. Good judgment and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to recognize when data may be incorrect or require additional review. Comfortable learning a new internal software system. Reliable availability Wednesday-Friday and ability to work onsite in Washington, DC on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Ability to commit to the assignment through the end of December.
