About the role
LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst for an exciting opportunity in Oak Brook, IL. This individual will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong FP&A experience within a manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or related corporate environment and be comfortable partnering with operational and finance leaders to provide actionable financial insights. Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, KPIs, operating metrics, and business performance
- Perform detailed budget-to-actual and forecast variance analysis and communicate key drivers
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic initiatives
- Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and operational performance across business units
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to finance and operational leadership
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, supply chain, and other business teams
- Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities that could impact business performance
- Support month-end reporting and ensure financial results are accurately reflected
- Improve financial reporting, forecasting processes, and analytical tools
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects for leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 4+ years of Financial Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, or related finance experience Experience within manufacturing, consumer products, distribution, or a similar corporate environment highly preferred Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling experience Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, complex formulas, and financial modeling Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
