This is a full-time field position for Early Mid career sales professional with advancement opportunities.Responsibilities:Drive new business & client services in Mechanical Contractors & Engineers with MEP / HVAC projects & manage territory selling Refrigeration & HVAC services & agreements, warm leads provided some cold lead generation needed.Initiating and coordinating entertainment and technical events for your team's clientsSet & follow up on leads & referrals from current clients & generate new businessWill need an understanding of MEP / HVAC equipment, BAS EquipmentSales / Marketing, Business Development, Client Relations, CommunicationTechnical Understanding, Leadership, Teamwork, Relationship ManagementQualifications:Associates degree OR Background in HVAC, facility services industries, or property managementExperience with business to business sales preferred -Knowledge of the business environment in the Colorado Springs region Excellent interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated track record of rapport building, sales success, and customer satisfaction & Professional imageMinimum of 3 years outside sales experienceStrong written and verbal English skillsValid driver's license with driving record in good standingRequirementsRequirementsB2B sales experience primarily, selling to end users (not other contractors) - they're selling to very high-level professional decision makers: often CEOs, Directors, Boards, building owners.Experience selling services (not just projects)Must be a Hunter - someone who's used to account management or working from a book of business, portfolio of clients, dialers, client lists. They will be seeking out their own leads.Experience with complex, longer-term sales cycles (not a transactional sale) - from lead generation, cold calls, to first appointments, to presentations, objection handling, proposals, and closing. Our average sales cycle is about 3 months but can be over a year from initial contact.Insurance, route sales, anything retail is too transactionalNeed to be polished, professional, driven, tenaciousWhere we've had issues in the past is people getting frustrated by the initial push of cold calling to get first clients. They'll have to push past that and put in the work.
